Arts for Life

We often think of flourishing as a task we must impose upon ourselves, and our homes. It is an achievement as much as a discipline. Must loose 10 pounds. Must de-clutter. Must flourish before the next reunion or God forbid, the shame of it all. But what about watching pint-sized patients flourish because they are so strong in their hearts and souls that they will fight harder than any adult? Join me in supporting Arts for Life, a truly magical non-profit organization that uses the arts in all their forms to help children of all ages find some comfort as they deal with their illnesses and their hospital stays.

This week, help others flourish by joining us for a magical stroll through Tanglewood Park in Clemmons as we support Arts for Life with our Festival of Lights on Wheels fundraiser.
Bring the family for entertainment and refreshments provided along the route, starting 4:30pm this Friday, November 16th.
All proceeds bene t Arts for Life to provide art and music experiences for young pediatric patients in
4 North Carolina Children’s hospitals.

REGISTRATION: $20 – 12 & Older, free for kids 12 & under.

PRE-REGISTER ONLINE AT AFLNC.ORG or register at the event.

Living your best and fullest life requires self-exploration—knowing who you are, what you like, what you love, even what you can't stand—then using this knowledge to begin the process of flourishing into a more thriving, prosperous and happier you. All it takes is tweaking bits and pieces of your life, editing and assessing your appearance, home, hobbies, travel or anything else you'd like to revamp.
