Community and giving back

Community

Giving back
with heart

Our Philosophy

Beauty begins with
generosity

At Flourish, we believe that creating beautiful spaces and meaningful lives extends far beyond the walls of any home. True flourishing happens when we invest in the well-being of our neighbors and the vitality of our community.

Francesca has always felt a deep responsibility to give back to the community that has embraced her. Her involvement in local organizations reflects the same care and intentionality she brings to every client relationship.

Giving back

Strengthening the
Winston-Salem community

In recent years Francesca has become involved with Friends of Brenner Children's Hospital, the Sara Lee Center for Women's Health at Forsyth Medical Center, the Arts Council and the Junior League of Winston-Salem, and the WSFCS Prom Closet.

Each organization she supports aligns with her core values: care, creativity, and the conviction that everyone deserves the chance to flourish.

Every student deserves
a night to shine

My life would not be complete if I were not able to give back to the community which has so embraced and supported me throughout all these years. Thanks to my friend Christine Bland, I have the unique opportunity to work with her and her incredible team for the WSFCS Prom Closet. This program allows kids in need to shop at a special prom boutique, where they can find beautiful, donated prom attire to attend their special event.

The Prom Closet is a permanent prom shop at 2700 South Main St. and is a district-wide, permanent prom closet. Christine's vision is a blessing for all young people, who would normally not be able to attend prom, due to financial hardship.

I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to work with Christine Bland, Lauren Richards, Lisa Sugg and my dear friend and colleague, Ann Umstead, amongst so many other strong, forward thinking, and generous women. I cannot wait to see the joy on the faces of these young men and women, as they pick out their outfits for prom this spring and walk with pride in their step.

The Prom Closet gratefully accepts donations of formal clothing for both men and women.
